‘Celebrating my breastfeeding journey with these BEAUTIFUL images captured by the very talented @tillywhitephotography.

I am so proud of us and my amazing milk. It still fascinates me that my body can give baby all the best nutrients. Did you know a mums milk changes it's nutritional profile as your baby grows. It also changes from day to day and can increase it's water content during the hotter days and when baby is poorly to provide extra hydration.

I still see and have myself experienced some negative attitudes towards breastfeeding. I feel so strongly that us feeding mums should be supported and celebrated to nurse however, wherever and whenever we need to.
Breastfeeding is the most natural and beautiful thing in the world and us women should celebrate this GIFT!
I will be forever grateful of our smooth sailing breastfeeding journey so far and will be treasuring this precious time.

Finally.. Support, guidance and knowledge is key to a successful breastfeeding journey. I didn't have much of this with my first 2 babies and after learning so much last time, I definitely feel more relaxed and knowledgeable about the "norms" of breastfeeding. "Is she feeding again!", "she is too hungry", "she will sleep better on formula" are just some of the most infuriating comments.
Breastfeeding isn't for everyone and of course as long as baby is fed that's all that matters but if it's something you want to do, you CAN do it with the right support’
